How Hoda Kotb Stopped Feeling "Unworthy" Of Motherhood

Hoda Kotb Says She’s “Blessed Beyond Measure” With Her Daughters

Hoda Kotb is feeling more powerful than ever.

The Today co-anchor is on a journey of self-discovery through her Making Space podcast, one which she speaks to individuals who influence her with a journey of self-discovery and strength with Maria Shriver, Rosie, Perez, Steve, Harvey and Shania Twain to share their stories of strength.

For Hoda, however, her primary sources strength are her children Haley Joy, 6, and Hope Catherine, 3 as “The shining stars of my life,” she explained her ladies in an unique interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker “I am blessed beyond step for me.”

However, Hoda confessed to when feeling not worthy of motherhood prior to she embraced Haley in February 2017, including Hope to their household 2 years later on.

” Sometimes I question like, ‘How did this occurred? How did I get this?'” she described. “I utilized to feel practically undeserving of it. I do not any longer. Something took place within me where I resembled, ‘You understand what, I’m worthwhile of these kids, I’m worthwhile of myself. I’m enough simply as I am. I will support and like these little women, as long as God lets me have them for as long as I’ll be here.'”

And Hoda shared that she reveals thankfulness for her life every early morning by composing in her journal– a practice she’s done because 2016– since she gets “strength understanding that every day I get another shot.”

” Let me discover the happiness, the love and the lessons, let me see those things and not miss them,” the veteran reporter described of her dedication to her early morning pages regular. “So I seem like every day I get that. I’m grateful for today. And tomorrow, I’m going to be grateful for tomorrow. I’m not looking down the roadway, I’m simply going to resemble, I get to do this. That’s enough for me.”

While Hoda worried that she feels really “blessed” in her life, her Today co-host Jenna Bush Hager has actually been on an objective discover her a partner following her break up with her fiancé Joel Schiffman in January 2022.
